How to add personal payments to an independent website

Add a hosted checkout path to a personal site by creating a merchant payment rule, placing the generated link or button on the page, and confirming the payment from a transaction record.

1. Create the payment rule

Use a merchant code for a flexible amount or a fixed product for a public price that must remain locked.

2. Publish the checkout entry

Add the hosted checkout URL, QR code, or generated button to a landing page, website, H5 page, app, or WebView.

3. Reconcile confirmed payments

Use the order number and transaction hash record to verify that a payment belongs to the intended offer.

Why use a fixed product for a public offer?

A fixed product keeps the product price and settlement rule on the backend. This is safer than trusting a price value supplied by a browser, and it gives an independent website a repeatable checkout flow for memberships, downloads, packages, and digital goods.

For an invoice, a custom quote, or a manual amount, a merchant code can be the more suitable entry point. The correct choice depends on whether the public offer has a fixed price or needs a server-created amount.
