X886 Ad Settlement Helper is a Chrome extension for creating local ad settlement memos, proof notes, printable receipts, and JSON exports for sponsored placements.
Information Stored Locally
The extension stores ad settlement records locally in Chrome extension storage on the user's browser. Locally stored data may include:
- Advertiser name
- Publisher or creator name
- Placement URL
- Campaign URL
- Campaign amount
- Date range
- Receiving EVM wallet address
- Deliverables
- Transaction hash or settlement note
- Current tab title and URL captured by the user as proof
How Data Is Used
The locally stored data is used only to let the user save, copy, print, clear, and export ad settlement memos and proof records.
Data Sharing and Transmission
The extension does not automatically transmit locally stored settlement data to our servers or to third parties. The extension contains links that the user may choose to open, including X886 website dashboard links and a Telegram bot link.
Permissions
- storage: used to save ad settlement drafts and proof records locally in Chrome extension storage.
- activeTab: used only after the user clicks "Capture Current Page" to save the active tab title and URL as placement proof.
- sidePanel: used to show the settlement helper in Chrome's side panel.
Information Not Collected
The extension does not request or collect:
- Private keys
- Seed phrases
- Wallet passwords
- Exchange account credentials
- Full browser history
- Email contacts
- Financial account login data
User Control
Users can clear locally stored extension data by clicking the extension's "Clear" button or by removing the extension from Chrome.
