1. Purpose of This Page
This page explains how Merchant Mesh reviews abuse reports, takedown requests, rights-holder notices, consumer complaints, fraud reports, and other compliance-related concerns involving use of the platform.
2. What Can Be Reported
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation, scams, or deceptive use of payment links or embeds.
- Copyright or trademark complaints, infringing content, or unauthorized template/content use.
- Illegal goods or services, sanctions concerns, malware, or other prohibited use.
- Consumer complaints involving non-delivery, misleading claims, or abusive conduct by a merchant.
- Requests to review a payment link, checkout page, merchant account, or publicly accessible content.
3. Information a Report Should Include
To speed up review, a report should include enough information for the operator to identify the specific merchant, payment link, wallet address, checkout page, content, or account involved, together with a concise explanation of the issue and supporting evidence such as URLs, screenshots, timestamps, and relevant transaction references.
If you are a rights holder or authorized representative, include a statement of your authority and identify the material you believe is infringing or unlawful with enough detail for reasonable investigation.
4. Operator Contact and Review
Reports should be submitted to the operator's published contact channel for this website. Before public launch, the operator should maintain a monitored abuse or compliance contact method for this purpose.
Merchant Mesh may request additional information, restrict access, disable links, suspend accounts, remove content, preserve logs, or decline action where a report is unsupported, incomplete, abusive, or outside the platform's scope.
5. No Blanket Approval of Merchant Conduct
Merchant Mesh is a software tool platform and does not pre-approve every downstream use of payment links, embeds, templates, or checkout flows in real time. Each merchant remains responsible for its own offerings, marketing, fulfillment, compliance, and customer obligations.
If misuse is identified or reasonably suspected, the platform may take enforcement action under the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable law.
6. Rights-Holder and Takedown Notes
A complaint or takedown request does not automatically require removal in every case. However, once the operator is placed on notice of credible infringement, fraud, or prohibited conduct, the platform may investigate and disable access where appropriate. The operator should keep a documented review process and a reachable complaint channel.
